soup pot
My friend was having a cook out, and the theme was japanese. The soup in the pot in this shot is japanese dashi, which explains the big piece of seaweed sticking out of the stock. It was bubbling away, and I was attempting to document the whole event, so I focused at the inside of the soup pot and took a shot. The black and white film made the shot a lot more interesting than it would have been in colour... I like how the soup really looks like it's bubbling, even though it's a still shot.
